1. Pen or pencil?
Pencils, especially cute decorated pencils. I use them often, actually. My favorite one is Hello Kitty. I also like the physical act of sharpening pencils.
2. Paperback, hardcover, or eBook?
Hardcover. I like that they don’t lose shape. They also feel more substantial in my hand. Though, on second thought, eBooks are nice because you're able to multitask and do some online shopping between chapters.
3. Coffee or tea?
Depends on the time of day. I’m an asshole in the mornings until I get my coffee. But I prefer tea in the afternoons, it makes me more focused and, somehow, very chic. Honeybush tea is my favorite.
4. Wine, tequila, beer?
In my mind, I’m classy and spend quiet evenings sipping wine with my beloved. In reality, I down margaritas with abandon, leaving a trail of clothing (and bad choices) in my wake.
5. Twitter, IG, of Snapchat?
In general, I don’t “get” social media. IG seems to be for fake deep/artsy pictures with vague captions. As far as I’ve seen, Snapchat is for mouthing lyrics and using those silly filters, which scare me btw. Of the three, I suppose that I prefer Twitter. It’s quick and the character limit helps me to keep my thoughts concise.
6. Lipgloss or lipstick?
Lipstick, red and hot pink are absolute staples.
7. Fact or fiction?
Fiction. As a chemist, my research must be based on fact. However, after hours, I find fantasy to be more interesting.
8. Glamour girl or girl next store?
It’s 3pm in the afternoon and I’m wearing blingy platforms, rhinestones, and glittery eyeshadow. Needless to say, glamour is in my DNA.
9. Zombies, vampires, or werewolves?
Assuming that this question is about which I’d chose as a lover, as if I were Sookie Stackhouse or Bella, it would be an easy decision: werewolves. I like going out during the day and I like to cuddle at night. As a genre for horror movies though, zombies all the way. They are scientifically fascinating.
10. Becky Bloomwood, Bridget Jones, or Carrie Bradshaw?
I love each of these characters for different reasons. But I absolutely adore Carrie Bradshaw. She is fashionable and fun, but ambitious at the same time. I enjoy the balance between her career and personal life.
11. Blush or bronzer?
I’d like to believe that I look like golden goddess at all times so, obvi, bronzer.
12. Heels or flats?
Heels. But, NEVER (ever, ever, ever) a kitten heel.
13. Chocolate: Milk, dark, or white?
Technically, there’s no such thing as white chocolate since there’s no cacao content. So, between milk and dark chocolate, I choose dark.
14. Cats or dogs?
Cats all the way. I actually think that I was a cat in a previous life because I have great peripheral vision and amazing balance.
